FOUNDERS
Reverend Dr. Joseph William Maitre is the co-founder of Helping Hands With Love, Inc. He started his ministry in Marmelade, Haiti. Since then, Pastor Maitre joyfully shares his experiences through multiple sermons guided by the Holy Spirit. Besides preaching the Gospel as an Evangelist, Rev. Maitre concentrates all his time in helping the unfortunate children in Haiti and in Dominican Republic.

Josephine C. Marcellin-Maitre is the Executive Director and co-founder for Helping Hands With Love, Inc. She is an energetic motivational speaker and a dedicated educator. She is seeking ways to assist unfortunate children and adults in Haiti and the Bathey in El Seibo, Dominican Republic. Along with being a caring mother, she is the wonderful wife of Rev. Dr. Joseph William Maitre.

Elementary School
In 2010, Micheline Sayesse visited the homes of over 100 young children who did not attend school. She found out that economic hardship was the main reason parents did not send their children to school. The vast majority of schools in Haiti are private. Parents are responsible for paying school fees, uniforms, books, lunch, and transportation. Even Haiti’s public schools require parents to pay for students’ uniforms and books.
Micheline and her husband, Pastor Sayesse, created l’Eglise Baptiste de Sion Elementary School in response to the great need for affordable education in a Christian environment. Today, the school serves 95 children, first through fifth grade. The Sayesses plan to continue to grow the school and add a new grade each year.
