Expanding Our Reach to El Seibo
In January 2020, when security concerns closed the doors to Haiti, a new door opened in the Dominican Republic. We were introduced to a community of 200 children in El Seibo—one of the many "Bateys" where families work tirelessly in sugar plantations. Moved by their spirit but heartbroken by their living conditions, we chose to "adopt" this church. Today, we don't just provide food and support; we empower the women of El Seibo through entrepreneurship programs, restoring both their livelihoods and their hope.
